0.7.3 - Combat & Construction
Hello, patient builders!
Let me see your war face because the battle mode is back with a solid interface!
Overall, expanding your city should feel way smoother now too, and you should be able to choose the right building easily. We’ve mostly used this update to change much of what’s happening behind the screen and polish some rough edges. You can enjoy LowPolis again!

Here’s the full 0.7.3 changelog!
ADDED:
- Battle mode demo is back with proper UI
- More types of bushes have been introduced
- List of game hints has been extended
CHANGED:
- Major UI rework and UX improvements
- Construction menu icons have been redesigned
- Each building now has a single road connection point
- Storehouse workers set their destination more efficiently thanks to a new algorithm
- Rendering objects, storehouse operations, and building construction have been improved for larger cities
- The alert text for producer issues has been rephrased and extended
- Roads now automatically reset their shape when adjacent objects get demolished
FIXED:
- Issues with textures on some setups have been fixed
- Sound effect of placed buildings is properly played with the camera zoomed-out
- Bushes are removed on structure placement
- Glitched gate placement near river banks has been solved
- Previously unused storehouse workers load with their correct state
- Storehouse workers operating wells load properly
- Marketplace maintenance cost is displayed properly
- Minor fixes and optimizations in the battle mode
Where are we heading now?
Let’s speak facts – LowPolis needs a strong rebalance and for a long time it was something we’ve tried putting away with small adjustments of building costs or resource consumption.
The game also needs to become more welcoming for new players. For this reason, we need a tutorial that will help people understand the game.
Beyond that, we’re working hard to make the battle mode a part of the actual gameplay. Optimal and solid unit pathfinding is a must for this to make future on-map battles enjoyable.
